Leads from the Statesman

I was late and didn't realize we were doing the leads on the blog and not those on the handout, so I did one on the handout.

          I believe that the story is about the tragedy of an assassination on a powerful political figurehead, ironically taking place directly after the peace rally.  Because of this unfortunate shooting, peace is a far-fetched idea for Israeli's and Jewish extremists.  Israel's government is trying to sort out and move forward from the incident, and they will try to come out of this stronger than ever.  I personally would not click on this link to know more because it does not closely relate to me. If it was in America or if I was Jewish then I might have been more interested.
